Club Update

I'm really sorry I haven't posted any pics lately.
With the chaos of the move I simply haven't had time. And to be honest, I haven't found the cord to download pics on to my computer since the move. I have a good idea where it is and I'll dig it out tomorrow. I'll have lots of pictures to post of the move and of club members first day at the "palace". In the meantime I want to thank everyone who donated to Alan's Fund. So far you have given $1300 to Alan and his family! Melissa and I are taking a check to him tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

A wise business woman once told me I should walk in to the bank when making deposits so I can make face to face contact with the bank people. I think it's supposed to help you to be remembered when you need to ask for money. I figure it won't hurt so I do it. (Am I rambling?) Anyway, when I took Alan's money to the bank on Friday the teller asked about "Alan's Fund" and I told her it. She was so impressed and wants to be a part of the club. Hopefully her dog will pass the evaulation. I think my point is that your generosity sold her. That's really cool.

Peace everybody. Love, Traci

Gone....For Good

How funny is this? Our new employee, John, called the other morning at 6 a.m. (when he knew we wouldn't be there to answer) to say that he had found a better paying job. Who in their right mind would chose money over our cute little furry faces?? Oh, well. Can't say that I'm sad.

Melissa took some cute photos today. I was out of the office and didn't get a chance to post them. I'll do that tomorrow.

FIELD TRIP

Today we trasported several of our small dogs to the "north branch" to get acquainted with the new facilities. I think this is the cutest picture and if dogs could speak english they would be scraming "FIELD TRIP".

Sneak Peek

I know everyone is anxiously waiting to see the new club. Here's a sneek peek. Melissa and Cristine have been painting today.

Anticipated Excitement

Trevor & Marleigh are excitedly anticipating the opening of "their" new school. Our furchildren just love Miss Traci, Miss Melissa & Miss Ashley and are sure to love the rest of the Club Canine humans as they become acquainted. There is nothing that makes us happier than to have our children whine with joy as we pull into Club Canine's parking lot and as Miss Traci & Miss Melissa can attest, Trevor generally makes his grand entrance as he runs down the hallway and throws the first door wide, slamming it against the wall trying to reach his buddies for a full day of play. Thanks Club Canine for making our children happy, happy, happy! ~"Mo" & Tracy

Cayenne would rather be at Club Canine's doggie day care with her buddies but she has a good time at home - when we're not out walking.

Lisa

We're adding to our Club family and I'd like for you to meet Lisa Cantrell. Lisa is fun and energetic. She enjoys reading, music, and her dog, Petey. She loves playing the piano. I'm envisioning a baby grand in Club Canine's future!

First Day

What an exciting start to my Monday! As is customary with first timers, we put dogs in my office behind a gate for a "warming up" period. When I got to work this morning here's what I found. Ivory, the lab pup, had already been out playing with the "big dogs" and was taking a break. Bella had a birds eye view of "the big room" from my desk. She's not going to miss a thing on her first day!

The Fast and the Furriest

Hope you're impressed with our oscar winning booth! My dog, Abby, accompanied us. She knows how to work a crowd. Everyone adored her.

Ivory's 1st day Monday!

We are so excited about Ivory's first day of daycare on Monday. Not sure if Zag is excited about his "lil sis" tagging along.

What should Ivory wear for her first day?

"Brown Girl"

Brownie looks so sweet in her new spring collar.

"Brown Girl"

Brownie looking sassy in her new collar just in time for spring. What a cutie she is!

Our Groomer

I'd like to introduce to you Cristine Moody, our new groomer. Cristine is a graduate of the South Carolina School of Dog Grooming. We welcome her with open arms and paws.

Club Canine is the coolest!

Toby and Dolly and especially their mom and dad love Club Canine! Dolly now howls in excitement in the car when we get nearby...so Toby and I may lose our hearing but it's for a good reason. We can't even begin to thank Traci, Melissa and the rest of the gang enough for giving us a wonderful place for our pups.

Here's Toby, he's quite addicted to Club Canine. He waits every morning to see if "this" is the day he & his sissy, Lucy get to go play.

Our First Oscar

Melissa and I attended a Chamber event yesterday themed "Business in Motion". We were instructed to use the motion picture theme when designing and setting up a booth for display. The best booth won an oscar. Well... ours was the best and here's a picture of our oscar. Our theme was "The Fast and the Furriest". I forgot to take my camara (we can't be good at everything, ya know) so we asked JJ Perry, Navins dad, who was in attendance, to take a picture of our booth. When he sends the picture to me I'll post it.

Cody B & Cody D

We have two Codys at the Club. Both were in attendence at daycare today and let's just say we're all a little confused. You see, Cody B is a puppy and, as is common with puppies, they get "called down" a lot. Cody D is older and rarely ever gets "called down." Just when Cody D thinks he's mastered the house rules, he's all of the sudden getting "yelled" at. (Note: we don't really yell at Club Canine) By the end of the day Cody D had decided to play it safe and just stand still. After some assurance and explaining whos who he relaxed and I think knew that Cody stop that, stop this, don't do that, do this...etc...didn't apply to him everytime. Now when he here's "Cody" he looks at Cody B as though to say "what did you do now?".

Puggle??

Pug + Beagle = Puggle. When I first saw Lilly, who by the way is a new top dog member, I thought hmmm...she'll grow on me. Boy was that an understatement! She has the neatest personality. She's lively, fun, easy to get along with, and just gets cuter everyday. Just had to share her....

Baby on Board!

Roxy is the proud new big sister to Belle, a blue heeler puppy. Keeping true to her roots, Belle has been herding "the flock" non-stop on her first day of doggie daycare. She did take a short rest with big sis and I couldn't resist taking a picture of the two.

New Additions

We welcome John Shook, Club Canine's newest employee. He will join CC full time at the new facility. He came by for a visit today to get his feet wet. Hang on John...you're in for a wild ride!

Making The Most Out Of Change

Club Canine is in the midst of big change. Change is difficult and a little scary. As I laid awake last night at 1 a.m. thinking about my fears, I realized that my greatest fear is not managing a larger business, hiring the right people or paying the bills but, instead, losing touch with my clients. In an effort to feel connected I thought this blog might be appropriate. It will allow me to share with you my thoughts at random, but more importantly, share with you pictures of and stories about your dogs. Not a day goes by that I don't whip out the camara for a "must have" shot of the dogs. I hope you enjoy this blog spot. Visit often.

Love,

Traci
