Who can resist this face? Toby was adopted by his mom, Lee, at the animal shelter in Caldwell County. He was scheduled to be euthanized on his adoption day. According to Chad Barr, at Caldwell Animal Control, dogs turned in only have a few days to be adopted, because of space limitations. If you or someone you know is looking for a dog PLEASE send them to Caldwell Co. Animal Care and Control for a visit. You or they may be an angel for a lucky dog. Traci

I'm so in awe of people who adopt. That's such a generous act because not only do you rescue the dog but commit to raising and loving him or her knowing that you may face health and/or emotional issues and the cost of dealing with that. The surprising fact is that of the people I know who have dogs, many of them have adopted and they are the nicest and most generous people I know.
Congratulations on being a special person, you and all the others at Club Canine who have adopted. I would like to suggest that Traci consider having a special day of appreciation (like Mother's and Father's day) where Adopters are recognized and applauded.
